The body of the bottle is manufactured from premium 304 stainless steel, also known as 18/8 steel (18% chromium and 8% nickel). This specific alloy ensures a strong, corrosion-resistant, and completely non-porous surface.
The steel does not react with food or liquids, meaning the bottle will neither absorb nor retain lingering flavors from juice or smoothies. The product is LFGB certified and 100% free from lead, BPA, BPS, and other bisphenols.

Yes, when the flip spout is folded completely down, it seals tightly so the water bottle stays leakproof. In certain cases, a small amount of liquid may remain in the straw when closed, which could leak out if the bottle is laid down flat. However, this should be minimal and can usually be avoided by tipping the bottle upside down briefly before placing it in the bag.
