The 935 ml SteelMate lunch box is the perfect solution for parents who want to make school lunches more fun and inviting to open at school or daycare. The layout consists of one large main compartment of 340 ml for wraps, sandwiches, pasta, or meatballs, along with four smaller compartments (215 ml, 182 ml, 131 ml, and 67 ml) for berries, nuts, cucumber sticks, and a sweet treat.
Leakproof Outside and Between Compartments
While many compartment lunch boxes can only hold completely dry food, SteelMate offers complete freedom in packing lunch. The lid contains a specially developed insert made of food-grade platinum silicone, which seals tightly around every single compartment edge.
This makes the lunch box 100% leakproof on the outside, protecting school bags from spills. At the same time, the silicone seal prevents juices from berries or dressings from migrating into neighboring sections – keeping grapes fresh and crisp without picking up flavors of garlic or dressing.
Stainless Steel and Documented Safety
The container is manufactured from premium 304 (18/8) stainless steel. The steel has a smooth, non-porous surface that neither absorbs nor imparts odors or flavors.
The product complies with strict EU regulations for food contact materials and is completely free from BPA, BPS, PES, PFAS, lead, and phthalates. By choosing steel over plastic, you avoid worn-out lunch boxes and protect the environment from single-use packaging like plastic wrap and aluminum foil.
Cleaning and Practical Precautions
The entire lunch box and the removable silicone insert are dishwasher safe. The silicone insert can easily be removed during washing to prevent food residue from gathering in the corners.
