Large Steel Food Containers for the Fridge and Outings
This large set from SteelMate is designed for everyday generous portions. The set includes two strong steel containers: A 650 ml container and an extra spacious 950 ml container. With a combined volume of 1.6 liters and an empty weight of just 325 grams, this set covers everything from breakfast on the go to storing dinner leftovers.
The two sizes meet different needs. The 650 ml container is still easy to carry in your bag – it holds a generous portion of sliced fruit for the workday, a serving of oatmeal, or a filling salad alongside your lunch box. The 950 ml container is intended for the fridge and has room for a full meat dish, a pasta meal, or a portion for several days.
Airtight Silicone Lids Keep Food Fresh
Both containers come with a flexible and durable lid made of food-grade platinum silicone. The lid seals airtight around the steel rim, preventing food from drying out and keeping strong food odors inside the container rather than in the fridge.
Space-Saving Nesting Across the Entire Range
When empty, the 650 ml container fits directly inside the 950 ml container without its lid. The system works across SteelMate's entire storage series, allowing mini and medium containers to be nested inside this set as well. If you own multiple sets, they take up the space of just one. With lids on, the containers stack neatly on top of each other in the fridge.
LFGB Certified and Easy to Maintain
The set is LFGB certified, and all materials coming into contact with food are approved for food contact according to EU regulations. Both steel containers and silicone lids are dishwasher safe for daily convenience. Wash the containers thoroughly before first use.
Important note: The containers are not insulated and do not keep food hot or cold on their own. The silicone lid is flexible, and we do not recommend transporting thin liquids like soup in a packed bag where the lid could be pushed off. The containers must never be placed in a microwave, conventional oven, on induction hobs, or over an open flame – if food needs heating, transfer it to a plate or a pot. Please also note that strongly coloring spices such as curry and turmeric can leave permanent marks on both the steel and silicone.
